ABOUT WORLD CUP ALL STARS MAHWAH

US Gymnastics Development Center II was founded in 1988 with a mission centered around athlete development, confidence building, and creating a positive environment where young athletes could grow through movement, discipline, and hard work. For decades, the program has proudly served families throughout the region as a premier recreational and competitive gymnastics facility.

In 2016, that legacy expanded with the launch of US Cheer Rebels, the gym’s All-Star Cheerleading program founded by Drew O’Leary. What began with just six athletes and a vision quickly transformed into one of the most respected and recognized competitive cheerleading programs in the region. Through passion, perseverance, and an unwavering commitment to athlete development, the program grew into a nationally competitive organization known for its strong culture, elite training, and family atmosphere.

Over the course of ten unforgettable seasons, US Cheer Rebels built a legacy of excellence both on and off the competition floor. The program produced multiple Summit and Worlds teams, earned national recognition, and helped shape countless athletes into confident leaders, teammates, and individuals. Season 10 marked a historic milestone for the program, featuring multiple elite-level teams and the final Worlds teams in program history before entering a new era.

In May 2026, the program proudly transitioned into World Cup All Stars Mahwah, officially joining one of the most iconic and respected brands in the cheerleading industry. While the name and branding evolved, the heart of the program remained the same — built on passion, accountability, family, hard work, and the belief that every athlete deserves the opportunity to grow, succeed, and feel valued.

Today, World Cup Mahwah continues to provide athletes with elite-level training in a positive, high-energy environment led by experienced coaches with accomplishments ranging from Summit Champions to Cheerleading Worlds medalists, collegiate national champions, Team USA athletes, and industry-leading choreographers.

At World Cup Mahwah, we believe cheerleading is about more than trophies and titles. It’s about creating memories, building confidence, developing leadership, and teaching life lessons that extend far beyond the competition floor. Whether an athlete is stepping onto the mat for the very first time or chasing their dreams at the highest level of the sport, our mission remains the same: to inspire greatness, build character, and create a lifelong love for the sport and the family behind it.
