At World Cup All Stars Mahwah (formerly U.S. Cheer Rebels), our coaching staff brings elite-level experience and unmatched dedication. From NCA College Nationals and NCA All-Star Nationals to The Summit and even the Cheerleading Worlds, our coaches have excelled at the highest levels of the sport.
While each coach brings their own unique style and strengths, they all share a deep passion for cheerleading and a commitment to helping every athlete thrive. Whether it's on the mat or in personal growth, our coaches go above and beyond to ensure every athlete finds success and joy in their cheer journey.
DREW O'LEARY
Drew O’Leary is an Owner of World Cup All Stars, Director of the Mahwah location, and one of the driving forces behind the program’s growth, culture, and success. With over 14 years of experience in the cheerleading industry as both an athlete and coach, Drew has built a reputation for combining elite-level knowledge with unmatched passion, leadership, and dedication to athlete development.
Drew has had the honor of cheering for the two most prestigious collegiate cheerleading programs in the country, the University of Kentucky and the University of Louisville. During his athletic career, he earned five Top 10 finishes at the USASF Cheerleading Worlds, competing among the best athletes in the world. As a coach, he has continued that success by leading teams to three additional Top 10 finishes at Worlds, helping athletes achieve milestones many only dream of reaching.
His competitive accomplishments also include winning the 2013 CHEERSPORT Collegiate National Championship and the 2016 NCA Collegiate National Championship. In recognition of his coaching abilities, leadership, and commitment to athlete education, Drew was named the Top Veteran Instructor for NCA Speed Camps.
What truly separates Drew, however, is the impact he has made beyond the competition floor. As the founder and visionary behind the Rebels program, he helped grow the organization from just six athletes in its first season into one of the most recognized and respected programs in the region, serving over 150 athletes and families. His philosophy has always centered around creating more than great athletes as he continues to building confidence, accountability, resilience, leadership, and lifelong memories within the program.
Known for his energy, creativity, emotional investment, and relentless drive, Drew has become deeply respected throughout the cheerleading community for the culture he creates and the relationships he builds with athletes and families. His coaching style blends elite expectations with genuine care, ensuring every athlete feels seen, supported, challenged, and valued.
As World Cup Mahwah enters a new era, Drew remains committed to continuing the legacy, passion, and family atmosphere that athletes and families have come to know, while elevating the program to even greater heights within the World Cup All Stars family.
BUCKY O'LEARY
Bucky O’Leary is one of the most accomplished and recognizable names in the cheerleading industry, bringing decades of elite-level experience, creativity, and innovation to World Cup Mahwah. As an 8-Time Cheerleading World Champion, NCA Collegiate Grand National Champion, and 2-Time Team USA Gold Medalist, Bucky has established himself as a global leader in the sport both as an athlete and coach.
Known for his electrifying performance quality as a Hot Shot tumbler, jumper, and dancer, Bucky’s accolades include being an NCA All-American, an Undefeated Individual National Champion, and a nominee for USASF Choreographer of the Year. Throughout his career, he has coached and choreographed countless Summit and World Championship-caliber routines, helping athletes and programs across the country achieve success at the highest levels of All-Star Cheerleading.
As the founder and owner of Bucky O’Leary Choreography, an internationally recognized choreography company, Bucky has traveled the world sharing his creativity, passion, and expertise with athletes and programs of all levels. He has also served as a coach for the legendary World Cup Shooting Stars, one of the most iconic teams in cheerleading history.
Beyond the cheerleading floor, Bucky’s talents extend into the entertainment industry. He has performed with Cirque du Soleil, worked as a stunt performer and stunt double in major motion pictures, appeared in Off-Broadway productions, national television commercials, and has been featured on multiple cheerleading magazine covers throughout his career.
A former gym owner and lifelong ambassador for the sport, Bucky is known for his larger-than-life energy, visionary creativity, and ability to inspire athletes to believe in themselves and push beyond their limits. His coaching style combines elite-level expectations with passion, entertainment, and a genuine love for athlete development.
As World Cup Mahwah enters an exciting new chapter, Bucky is proud to help lead the next generation of athletes alongside Coach Drew, continuing to build a culture centered around excellence, family, passion, and unforgettable experiences both on and off the competition floor.
